Robert Girandola’s art ignited at six with a whale in oils, sparking a lifelong passion guided by mentor Laszlo Ispanky, whose wisdom shaped his path to a Columbia MFA. His work defies boundaries, fusing classical figurative forms with modern abstract energy in paintings, bronze sculptures, and mixed media like Wheat Field Bound (masking tape, epoxy, wheat).

From 9/11 firefighter memorials to Lower Makefield veterans’ tributes, Girandola’s creations explore dreams, memory, and consciousness. Inspired by 30 years of lucid visions, his book Over Dinner & Other Strange Enchantments unveils the mind as a quantum parchment—a journey unlike any dream narrative. Today, he paints, sculpts, and crafts prints and apparel, weaving Jersey sod fields and crystal portals into a multiverse canvas. Ispanky’s call to push limits echoes in every piece, inviting collectors to rethink reality.
